Baby Photo Contests: Get the Attention Your Baby Deserves
If you, the proud parent, think that your baby has got it, then there is no better way to get started on the road to stardom than entering your baby in a baby photo contest. There is no better, nor faster way, to get the early exposure you and your baby need, than using this means to get attention. After all, most baby photo contests are sponsored by companies looking for the next Cindy Crawford or…or…or the male equivalent to Cindy Crawford, whoever he is.
Where to start? Now comes the hard part: deciding which of your many thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands of baby pictures you’ve taken of the darling little one since the day he or she arrived is the best of all the rest to represent your baby the day the spotlight shines. So many baby pictures, so little time.
The best, and easiest step, is to go looking for free photo contests to enter. Why free ones? Well, for one, they are free. But the biggest reason is that the best prize in the free photo contests is the exposure. They bring you to them. Them being the bigwigs and executives at the television, magazine and modeling empires who usually sponsor these contests as a way of looking for future stars and starlettes. By placing your baby right in the pathway, you couldn’t help but have your cherub noticed by those who count.
Online photo contests are by far the most accessible and easiest to enter. It is just a matter of searching in Google for online baby photo contests (remember to look for the free photo contests first, to get started), then register, upload your photo or photos and you are off to the races. If you choose a contest where a fee is required, doing it online makes this a snap, too.
When your baby picture becomes a photo contest winner, and there should be no doubt about this happening, then let the exposure begin! A lot of contests run the photo contest winners on their website, and in brochures to promote future contests. This is the beginning of possibly worldwide exposure for your future star.
As a side note, and a good reason to not overlook contests where you have to pay a fee to register, paid contests usually have good cash prizes. With these cash prizes, you can set up a college fund for your baby, should the aspirations of stardom fade to black by college age. You would be all set should this happen.
And, naturally, what better way to show off the fact that your’s is the cutest baby on the big blue marble than to enter these contests, and win? That would prove to all those nay-sayers saying their babies are the cutest, who is right. A little pride in one’s child never hurt anyone, least of all the child. Your baby will know that you knew and cared enough to share his or her beauty with the world by entering all these contests. Bonding never was any better than that.
The last thing I am going to leave you with is this: remember above all else that baby photo contests are first and foremost entertainment. Enter them to have fun, and be sure your baby knows that it is not whether you win or lose, it is the lifetime of memories both of you will share when recalling the contests that were entered. These are the stuff of which life is made.
