It can be a real challenge to come up with good birthday games for kids, especially if you’ve never done anything like that before. Maybe the birthday is for your son and you need to come up with activities for all his buddies. What do we know about boys? Well, they tend to be rambunctious, so we know that birthday games for boys should be fun and encourage activity. Here are some ideas to get you going.

Assuming that you’re having the birthday party during the summer, the boys will probably love a water gun fight. You can turn it into the classic Indians and cowboys gunfight by splitting them up into teams. The object of the game? Make the opposing team as wet as possible! When you send out the invitations, be sure to tell everyone to bring an extra set of clothes. By the way, you can find really good deals on water guns if you check out the dollar store, and you’ll be able to buy them in all sorts of sizes and colors.

Birthday games for kids don’t have to be extravagant. Boys will even like playing three-legged races. When playing this game, it is important that boys of similar sizes match up so no injuries occur. You will want to pair up the boys into two teams. Each pair will tie themselves together; one right leg to the other’s left leg. The goal of each pair is to finish the race first.
